Time Keeps On Slippin, Slippin Into The Future.

Time Keeps On Slippin, Slippin Into The Future.

It’s been about 3 weeks since this blog started.  A lot can happen in 3 weeks.  Snow capped mountains can go from sparkling white and back to brown.  Food goes from edible to down right unrecognizable.  Chickens can go from cute, cuddly yellow chicks to middle aged and almost ready for El Pollo Loco (chickens are harvested at about 6-8 weeks)!

Most important is what 3 weeks can mean for YOU?   In the last 3 weeks I’ve been able to see the results of my workouts!  I’m feeling a lot better.  I’ve been able to go from 20 minutes on the elliptical to 45 minutes!  Weights are starting to feel not so heavy, not so light, but no so heavy.  My clothes are fitting a bit differently as well.  It is also becoming easier for me to make time to do the exercise at all.  Motivation is at an all time high right now and I love it!

So, what about the next 3 weeks?   What will that bring?  How will I feel and look in that short amount of time?  If things go they way they’re going now, then imagine I should be feeling just as good or better.  I should be looking better as well.  I haven’t purchased the body fat monitor yet, though I need to, but either way I should be seeing results on the scale and in the mirror.

Hopefully you will see it too.  Join me?

That’s so awesome, Julian. I’ve only been working out 2 weeks and its still hard, but I am feeling motivated. I was discouraged the other night at a Bunco party when a well-meaning girlfriend told me “Men see results right away, but women won’t see results until about 2 months in”. As discouraging as that was, two months is better than never, and still in time for swimsuit season. I will prevail! Thanks for being an inspiration to me!

Great job, Tasha!! Don’t worry about what your friend said. Every body responds differently. You just keep going and stay positive! Julian has me on a motivation kick too! I miss you guys!

still no desire to work out, and i am facing some dental work so i havent been taking my patches the last couple of days to get ready for that… but with that said, eating habits havent spiraled out of control either. the motivation is there to get better and not fall in to the same traps of old, especially with you and Tams as role models. keep up the good mang

  4. Gosh, I joined 24 hr fitness 2 months ago, but haven’t started working out yet. I hate working out! But I need to – gained 20 lbs in the last year. Yikes! OK, I’ve read your blog, and I’m going to start tomorrow.
